The government has produced some guidance on pet travel and Brexit, but unfortunately we still cannot be sure what the outcome will be when the UK leaves the EU. The guidance can be found here.

If you wish to travel with your pet on or near March 29th, please contact us for advice. You will have to prepared for the worst case scenario which is that your pet will be required to have a rabies vaccination, followed by a rabies antibody blood test a month later, followed by a 3 month wait (total 4 months). This means that you need to discuss this with us by the end of November if wanting to travel on 29th March 2019.

If you are not travelling until later in 2019, more than 4 months after 29th March, then you may choose to wait and see the outcome of Government-EU negotiations. If you are in doubt, please speak to us.
