THERE IS CURRENTLY A UK SHORTAGE OF CAT VACCINES.

Cat vaccines are in short supply across the UK. we are working hard with our suppliers to ensure a constant supply. Please click here for more information.

Vaccination

We offer a choice of vaccinations to suit the individual requirements of owners and their pets.

Puppies

Require two vaccinations usually given at 8 and 10 weeks of age. They are not fully protected until 2 weeks after the 2nd vaccination so they should not walk on any public areas such as parks and roads and must not socialise with unvaccinated dogs.

Adult dogs

Require annual boosters that are tailored specifically to the requirements of each individual animal. Alternatively a blood test can be taken to see how well protected your pet is and to see which booster is required but this can be more costly. Just ask us for details.

Kittens/cats

Cats are vaccinated against feline enteritis, calicivirus, rhinotracheitis and feline leukaemia. The primary course consists of two sets of injections usually given at 9 and 12 weeks old. Adult cats require annual boosters.

Rabbits

Require vaccination against myxomatosis and viral haemorrhagic disease (VHD). A combined vaccine is now available and is given annually.
